Our dossier has finished the translation stage and it is now on its way to Haiti!!! Yay, yay, yay!!! The next step is for our dossier to be processed in Haiti. For those following our timeline journey, this typically takes 4-6 weeks.
Our agency has informed us we have done everything we can right now. At this point, we wait. In other words, I will be learning patience over the next few months. ;)
In the meantime, I am praying for a sweet 16 year old girl who will be moved to an adult institution if she is not adopted by November. We all can't adopt a 16 year old blessed with an extra chromosome but someone out there can. Please join me in spreading the word! The higher her grant, the better chance she will be adopted quickly.
My daughters played their first season of basketball this year. Frankly, I know NOTHING about the sport but I learned when one player gives the ball to another and that person scores, that is called an "assist." Let's be the people who "assist" with Bernadette's adoption. Let's post her story on our Facebook walls, Twitter, email, etc. We can "assist" to her mommy and daddy and they can score... her!
